Google Optimization AdWords Specialist for Ripples in Africa
Help amplify the impact of women-led initiatives in West Africa through strategic digital advertising! Ripples in Africa is seeking a skilled Google Optimization AdWords Specialist to manage and optimize campaigns that drive donations, awareness, and engagement for our programs and Yaji Spice social enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping) to maximize ROI and donor acquisition.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to target high-impact terms aligned with our mission.
- Write compelling ad copy and design responsive ads for diverse audiences, including donors and ethical consumers.
- Monitor metrics (CTR, conversions, ROAS) and refine bids, budgets, and targeting using A/B testing.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports to track campaign success and inform fundraising strategies.
- Partner with our marketing team to align ads with donor stewardship materials and Yaji Spice's branding.
- Strategically manage and optimize our $10,000 Google AdWords budget to maximize impact and reach.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience with keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and adjust strategies.
- Google Ads certification (preferred).
- Basic understanding of SEO and landing page optimization.
- Proven ability to work efficiently within a defined AdWords budget.
Impact You'll Make
- Drive donations that support 17,200 women entrepreneurs and 45,000 children with improved food security.
- Increase visibility for Yaji Spice's ethically sourced products, connecting West African women farmers to global markets.
- Optimize our $10,000 AdWords budget to ensure every dollar directly funds regenerative agriculture and gender-equity programs.
- Enhance donor acquisition and retention through targeted campaigns that highlight our impact.
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours/week (flexible)

Ripples works in Ghana, Madagascar and Nigeria, and has worked funded and provided funding that has benefited over 6,000 since it's inception in the UK in 2005. We want to encourage American youth to develop international lenses and become immersed in a rich culture where they are part of the solution as well as create a hands on learning environment on creative ways to humanitarian efforts. We are in partnership with a several universities and successfully completed a trips with students from Europe and the United States. We want to raise funds and awareness for the program. We have several reports and videos from past students after their visits. We have several projects going on in Africa which served as an internship for the students.
