Communities In Schools of Tacoma has an exciting opportunity to help design the Mindfulness Space at Oakland High School! This will create a calm space for students to study, interact, and decompress during the school day.
We are in need of adult volunteers with experience in creating blueprints to help us finalize the plans to be submitted. If you are an architect or engineer with experience and have some time to partner with our youth in designing this space, we need your help! We are hoping to submit designs by within the next few weeks.

Description
Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.
We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
