Do you enjoy working with kids? Do you like helping others? TCMU needs volunteers to help on weekday mornings with field trip visits, particularly in two exhibits: 7 News Studio and Spark!Lab.
In the 7 News Studio, students explore the world of television by forecasting the rainy weather, reporting the news at Fluor Field or belting out "Let It Go" to some karaoke! In Spark!Lab, students become inventors as they solve problems that are tied to monthly themes!
Volunteers help staff in the 7 News Studio by passing out numbers to chaperones as their students wait in line, help set up visitors in front of the camera, and more. In Spark!Lab, volunteers help facilitate activities at the different stations.
