To provide support for terminally ill patents and their families in your community by offering comfort care, respite care, bereavement support, and/or office support.
Our volunteers, first and foremost, make an unselfish commitment to be a steady source of comfort and compassion in any way they can, for the families they serve.
Skills needed? A compassionate nature and good listening.
Providing a companionship/emotional support for patient and/or family members. Providing personal services to patient such as reading, writing letter/s, or simply listening to the patient or family member and holding the patient's hand.

Comfort and Peace Hospice has defined as its mission to affirm life during its final stages by providing holistic comfort care to patients and their families; by providing access to hospice care for under-served or difficult to serve populations; by wise and efficient use of available resources, and by educating the community in order to provide them with knowledge regarding end-of-life and hospice care around quality of life.
Comfort and Peace Hospice is a community based organization committed to providing the highest quality hospice care to patients, their families and close friends throughout San Diego County. We care for terminally ill patients with a wide range of illnesses including cancer, advanced cardiac disorders, advanced neurological disorders, AIDS, ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Multiple Sclerosis and any end stage disease.
