MSS is seeking a volunteer with experience in making jewelry, specifically experience with rocks. We have a group of adults with disabilities who have formed a Rock Polishing group, and would like to learn to make basic jewelry from the rocks they polish each week. The rocks are ordered online and come in various sizes. Volunteer should possess basic jewelry making skills, be comfortable leading a small group activity, and comfortable engaging with adults with disabilities. The Rock Polishing group currently meets Monday afternoons between 12:30-2pm, but day of the week can be flexible. Must be able to pass a background check.
