Title: Warm Hearts Event Help
Purpose: To assist Child Care Action Council with our 11th annual Warm Hearts Soup Bowl Fundraiser.
Responsibilities: Assist CCAC staff with event set-up and clean up. Volunteers are also needed to help clear, clean, and return soup bowls to the tables.
Time: Thursday, February 21 st 11:30 - 1:00 p.m.
Volunteers needed to help between 10:30-11:15 a.m. and end between 1:00-1:30 p.m.
Site: Lacey Community Center: 6729 Pacific Avenue SE Lacey, WA 98503
Supervision: Event volunteers will be supervised by CCAC event staff and report to the family services development associate.
Benefits: Volunteers have the opportunity to connect with the community, learn about child development and early learning, and have fun while supporting our mission. Lunch is complimentary.

The Child Care Action Council was founded in 1987 by a group of parents, child care professionals, employers, school & government representatives and other community members concerned about the inadequacies of our community's child care system.
CCAC currently serves parents & providers in Thurston, Grays Harbor, Mason, Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam counties.
Our mission is to promote and nurture early learning communities where families and children thrive.
To accomplish these goals, CCAC:
- Responds each year to thousands of families needing childcare.
- Educates parents in evaluating the quality of their child's care.
- Offers a variety of training opportunities for child care professionals.
- Helps to create new child care programs to fill unmet needs.
- Cooperates and encourages businesses to address their employees' child care needs.
- Advocates for children and families on a state, local and federal level.
