NEW Volunteer Opportunity at the Carnegie Science Center: Da Vinci
Beginning in February 2019, help us engage visitors in our new PPG Science Pavilion traveling exhibit: Da Vinci. Da Vinci The Exhibition is a hands-on examination of da Vinci’s life, research and art. Featuring more than 65 fully built, life-size inventions, more than 20 fine art studies and dozens of stunning displays, guests will learn the complex beginnings and lifetime achievements of da Vinci through his discoveries in art, engineering, flight, hydraulics, music, light and more.
This unique volunteering opportunity will last from February 2019 to September 2019. Hours of operation are 10:00am-5:00pm, seven days a week. Da Vinci volunteers will work one 4-hour shift per week during the 7-month course of the exhibit.
Volunteers will work in the main and mezzanine exhibit galleries to interact with guests of all ages. Volunteers will also assist in facilitating hands-on activities; the predominant goal being to help create memories for guests that will last a lifetime!
