This position will report to our Supervisor of Donor Services, supporting the mobile operations segment. We are looking for a committed volunteer who is willing to be trained, perform SOP testing and regularly volunteer to stay on top of these duties. Additional on-the-job training will be needed as more tasks are added.

This person will be closely supervised initially until a particular task is mastered before moving on to an additional training/responsibility.

Main duties will be centered around routine equipment tracking and document management. Some tasks are SOP controlled tasks so will require MasterControl training and access to imait software systems, and tracking ID number. This volunteer will also assist with the maintenance of accurate inventories, calibration and QC logs, status and location of UltraCrits, thermometers, blood pressure cuffs, emergency boxes, reaction kits and sand bag QC bags for Donor Services.

Additional duties may include: Entering serial numbers into computer tracking system and assist with imait record keeping for Donor Services equipment; filing documents and general Office Duties, including printing and adhering bar code labels to equipment; Manufacturing sand bag weights for all locations. Some standing and lifting (pushing/pulling) is required.

This position is a potential volunteer-to hire-position. There is an opening in this department currently for a part time
employee at 20 hours/week.

  • Up to 18 hours a week, schedule can be flexible; need someone who wants to be more of a long-term volunteer and committed to helping us get caught up on duties and staying on top of these duties.
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent; Good oral and written communication skills; strong computer skills in Microsoft Office; GREAT attention to detail; This is a very critical position for ensuring proper guidelines and training are followed.
