ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services

Through the Volunteers of America Meals on Wheels program volunteers deliver frozen boxes of meals to homebound seniors in Fort Collins. Once each year, the program plans a special event to deliver hot meals to clients who are interested. This year, the event will be taking place on Wednesday, March 20th from 11:00 - 1:00. Volunteers will pick up the hot meals from the food bank in Loveland (5706 Wright Dr.) then deliver the meals to the clients on their assigned route in Fort Collins. Then the hot boxes will be returned back to the VOA office in Fort Collins.

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
