Chicago Volunteers,
Join Street Samaritans on Sunday, October 27th for our monthly outreach and care package drive! As always, we will gather to collect donations, assemble care packages, discuss homelessness, and distribute living essentials to our homeless brothers and sisters. We will also collect critical data using our new mobile application, Reach Out.
PLEASE NOTE:
1) We are in need of CLOTHING (shirts, jackets, pants, shoes, underwear), backpacks, tents, non-perishable foods and tents, so please help us collect and bring to the event.
2) We will send out instructions prior to the event so you know what to expect the day of.
3) Please honor your RSVP by showing up on time. Donations are very appreciated, as well.

Description
We help to improve the living conditions of our homeless brothers and sisters in the city of Chicago through volunteering, charitable giving and direct outreach. We seek to educate people on the Street Samaritan way and enlighten them on true causes of homelessness, so that they, too, can help on a daily basis and become better social citizens. We connect volunteers together to build a closer community, provide human connection for those inflicted with homelessness, and build partnerships with local companies to drive stewardship.
