ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services

Installation volunteers will help prepare the museum gallery space for public exhibition. Volunteers will assist by painting walls, packing and hanging artwork, cleaning the gallery space, preparing the art.edu.osity creative space with hands-on art activities, and completing other duties as needed. Installation volunteers play an integral role in the preparation of upcoming exhibits at the Museum of Art.

Installation volunteers work on weekdays between 9-12 and/or 1-5 to install artwork and prepare the gallery for the museum’s upcoming exhibition. The museum has five installation periods each year.

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.

  • Orientation or Training
  • 3-7 hours per day from January 7th through the 11th. Shifts are typically 9-12 or 1-5. Volunteers are welcome to work part of the day or the full day for any of the dates listed above.
  • A casual interview with the Museum of Art's Volunteer Coordinator is required before training begins.
