Safe Places is seeking a volunteer to help train our staff and clients on tech safety. Our families are fleeing many forms of abuse including: physical, sexual, stalking and financial. We have found that some of our clients do not know how to make sure that their information is confidential or understand how to teach their children to be safe online. We are looking for a professional in the field who is willing to donate their time and talent to teach us. We can be flexible in the structure of these trainings and are happy to collaborate to come up with the best way to structure these trainings.

Mission Statement
The Mission of Safe Places is to provide families who are homeless as a result of domestic violence with safety and shelter while empowering them to break the cycle and live free of abuse.
Description
We provide 24-month transitional housing to families who are homeless as a result of domestic violence. We empower survivors of domestic violence through :
- Strength-based case management
- Individual financial counseling
- The goal of self-sufficiency
- Affordable housing search assistance
- Referrals for services such as abuse counseling, legal aid, and immigration
