Volunteer your time, talent, and resources to benefit children and adults with disabilities and other special needs, including military families in the Central Pennsylvania area. The Wonder Ball black-tie optional fundraiser, held October 12th, 2019 is the premier fundraiser for the Central region of Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania. Volunteer responsibilities may include:

  • Event Set-up & Breakdown
  • Silent Auction Help
  • Guest Check-In & Registration
  • Greeting and Directing Guests
  • Raffle Ticket Sales
  • Other Miscellaneous Tasks
Volunteers must be :
  • 21 years or older

Description

THERAPEUTIC RECREATION

  • Horseback Riding, Bowling, Waterskiing, Kayaking, Climbing, Music, Drama, Art, Fitness, social groups and more.
  • ACES Social Program tailored for individuals diagnosed with High Functioning Autism.
  • Day, week, and respite camps throughout the year with boating, fishing, zip lining, pool, fireside activities, and more.
MILITARY SERVICES
  • Project Beacon Respite Weekend provides weekend camps to children (with or without disability) of active servicemembers and veterans four times a year.

Sign Language Interpreting Services

  • We coordinate over 1200 interpreting sessions per year for the deaf and hearing impaired.
