Burlesque Hall of Fame, Inc

Exotic World exhibition
Jayne Mansfield's heart-shaped settee forms the centerpiece of our "Exotic World" exhibition, which pays homage to the Exotic World museum (our predecessor) and its role in the 1990's burlesque revival.

The Burlesque Hall of Fame, a museum located in downtown Las Vegas and dedicated to the history and living legacy of burlesque, seeks volunteers to act as museum guides. Guides share the story of burlesque with our visitors, answer questions, and help maintain the safety and cleanliness of our public spaces.

Guides are needed during all our open hours (Tues-Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 12-4pm), and can be scheduled in blocks of 2 hours. We prefer a weekly or bi-weekly commitment but we can likely work with whatever your schedule allows.

The Burlesque Hall of Fame is committed to all aspects of diversity and accepts volunteers regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, and physical disability. All necessary training will be provided. Volunteers should meet the following qualifications:

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willing to work under stringent museum and preservation standards.
  • Interested in burlesque, cultural history, and/or museum practice.
  • Due to the adult nature of our collection, volunteers must be over 18.

For more information, please contact Buttercup at with information about yourself and your availability. Resumes accepted but not required.
