Aurora Youth Options (AYO) works with middle and high school-aged youth and their families to navigate, connect and provide positive, individualized resources to help youth thrive. AYO's one-to-one, community based mentor program matches youth and volunteer mentors based on similar interests and personalities. We ask our matches to get together on average two times a month. Mentors have regular contact with Mentor Specialists for monthly feedback, coaching, and support as needed. Matches are provided free tickets to cultural events such as the Denver Zoo, the Museum of Nature and Science, the Art Museum, sporting events, and plays and musicals.

Right now, we have three male youth who are waiting for the right mentor to come along. We have one young man who is interested in exploring the outdoors, sports, game nights, and having fun. He currently doesn't have a male figure involved in his life and he struggles in math and science classes. He’s looking for someone who will be supportive and kind, enjoy similar activities, and act as a role model. He’s excited to be matched up with someone awesome! Are you the mentor he's been hoping for?
