Children Striving Together is a non-profit organization who caters to at-risk youth as well as youth of the community through enrichment activities, mentoring, tutoring, annual events, and much more. Our number one goal is to help our youth thrive for success and become great future pillars in our communities.
CST is currently looking for active board members to serve for at least 1 year who have had experience leading, being on a board, or facilitating an organization in a leadership role. We ask that all board members are able to contribute to 4 meetings a year, fundraise, commit their time, and help push the mission forward for the betterment of the organization.
We are looking for dedicated members who have a passion for youth, the community, as well as small organizations. We would love members who want to assist with making a big change and huge impact in a positive way.
If you are interested, please apply and more details will be sent your way. Thank you in advance for contributing to "Helping Our Youth Thrive."

Mission Statement
Our mission is to support at-promise youth and children in L.A. and Orange Counties by offering a variety of activities and events that foster their growth as individuals. We provide programs based on children’s interests, including art, sports, music, dance, volunteer opportunities, high school and college prep workshops, and more.
Description
CST members have access to a diverse experience that combines fun, skill-building, community, and personal development. Our programs grow and evolve based on the needs and interests of our local youth and provide a safe outlet for them to explore their talents. One of our main goals is to teach children that their struggles and obstacles don’t determine their lives; they can always overcome adversity with help and hard work. Our members leave CST with leadership and social skills, academic improvement, and a built-in community they can rely on. Our main focus is to offer our youth the life skills that will positively shape their futures. The future of CST is bright. Our initial goal was to impact the world starting with our community; we’re now well on our way. We hope to eventually have youth centers worldwide, offering greater academic support, activities, and events catered to their specific communities, and a chance to add value to the lives of youth everywhere.
