We are looking for a program manager to volunteer their time to help assist our organization with the Program Piece. We currently run a fully active mentor program and are hoping to have our tutoring program fulling running. The program manager would be in control of the following: Identifies or verifies an unmet that the organization should act upon Identifies resources needed to manage the program such as funding requirements, facilities and supplies, and support staff Designs strategy and processes Measure and report on outcomes Seeking grants or fundraisers that the organization can apply for to support specific programs Report to the Board once a month on the progress being made If this is something you are interested in, please email childrenstrivingtogether@gmail.com and or follow this link so that we can interview you and see how you can assist. This volunteer position allows for virtual work 80% of the time and 20% may be in-person work. You can create your own schedule being that this is a task-oriented volunteer position and you will not be asked to volunteer more than 20 hours a week. Some of the duties are as follows: - Acts as the administrative point of contact between ED and internal/external demands. - Undertakes the tasks of receiving calls, taking messages, and routing correspondence. - Handles executives’ requests and queries promptly and appropriately. - Conserves executive’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information, initiating telecommunications. - Maintains executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. - Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. - Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. - Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information. - Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems, recording meeting discussions. - Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Children Striving Together is a non-profit organization who caters to at-risk youth as well as youth of the community through enrichment activities, mentoring, tutoring, annual events, and much more. Our number one goal is to help our youth thrive for success and become great future pillars in our communities. CST is currently looking for active board members to serve for at least 1 year who have had experience leading, being on a board, or facilitating an organization in a leadership role. We ask that all board members are able to contribute to 4 meetings a year, fundraise, commit their time, and help push the mission forward for the betterment of the organization.
