A group serve from UPS

Need to fulfill court-mandated hours? We let you serve ANYTIME the store is open. No need to schedule shifts - just drop in and serve!

For those completing school mandated hours (Harper Promise, NHS, Palatine Life), contact us to sign up for shifts. It's easy and accessible!

We have helped hundreds of individuals successfully complete their court or school ordered service with ease. Our environment is welcoming and we offer a break room, kitchen area, and restrooms. Your service helps create funds that provide housing and resources for homeless women and children. Complete your service hours and make a difference at Community Threads!

About Community Threads

250 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004, US

Mission Statement

Community Threads is a nonprofit ministry that makes grants and runs programs supporting education and the relief of poverty.

Community Threads brings together a network of local ministries to help the homeless and underserved in our community through the operation of a nonprofit thrift store. The store provides a way for these ministries, our donors and shoppers to make a difference in these tough times. Through your donations of quality goods, Community Threads is able to provide the best stuff at the lowest possible price to shoppers on a budget and then return all the profits back to our communities for much needed services.

All profits from the store go directly to provide quality education to needy students, shelter for the abused and homeless, addiction recovery programs and other critical services right here where we live. We welcome new volunteers into the store. Sign up for our e-newsletter for special coupons and store news.
