Do you have a certified therapy animal who loves cuddling with friends?
Are you looking for a way to give back in your community?

Kindred Hospice is looking for volunteers with therapy pets to visit our patients in facilities and homes throughout Providence, Rhode Island!

You and your pet can help our patients by

  • Lifting spirits
  • Releasing the feeling of isolation
  • Opening up dialogue
  • Providing companionship
  • Providing socialization
  • Creating motivation
  • Making memories
Our volunteers are asked to spend 3-8 hours a month with our patients with life-limiting illnesses who are often feeling isolated and could use the furry friendship of a comforting creature.
Hours are flexible and based upon your schedule!.
