Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of patients who are struggling to pay for their daily living expenses while undergoing cancer treatment? The Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist our Client Services team.

The Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist in office with phone coverage responsibilities. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients applying for financial assistance. We request a three to six hour a week commitment for at least 6 months. Bilingual (Spanish & English) volunteers a plus, but not required.

These volunteers are helping to support our mission of supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment in the state of Florida with their non-medical financial needs.

Duties include:

• Answering live calls and returning voicemails
• Assisting with answering questions and communicating with patients applying for grant assistance
• Assisting with written correspondence, letters, emails and other related correspondence

• Good communication skills, written and verbal

• Volunteers must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• We cannot accommodate court-ordered community service.
