Mission Statement
The Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Foundation provides financial support to qualified adult cancer patients in the state of Florida for expenses such as rent or mortgage, car payments and utility bills. By giving patients peace of mind in knowing that their bills are being paid while they are undergoing treatment, the FCS Foundation allows them to concentrate on what really matters - fighting cancer.
Description
The FCS Foundation is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization was founded in 2011 and located at 5204 Paylor Lane in Sarasota, Florida. The FCS Foundation assists cancer patients across the state of Florida. Due to the generosity of the Florida Cancer Specialists partner physicians in covering all overhead expenses for the Foundation, 100% of donations received go directly towards paying the essential non-medical living expenses of an adult battling cancer.

Helping patients apply for grants to help pay bills - so rewarding. As important, the staff is wonderful , so appreciative. If you like talking with people, or have basic computer skills, you will find this a wonderful way to give back!

I recently volunteered for this organization and now am on the schedule weekly. It has been a great experience and I highly recommend Florida Cancer Specialists to anyone looking for an opportunity to give back to the community.

Just to share to others about cancer and to help people with cancer to help them enjoy their lives or to help them anyway you can..i also have a grandmother with cancer.

I have been a Caregiver for many years, my wife is a two (2) time Beast Cancer Survivor,have been taking care of her for many years.
She is doing really well and is Vice President of a Support Group,Wellington Fl.

I am a two time cancer "thriver" I have done a lot of volunteer work, but by far this is the best 3 hours of my week. I am able to have an impact on the patients life and I can see it immediately. If you want to feel needed , this is the place for you.
