Lambert House is Seattle's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth community center. We are seeking meals volunteers to prepare and serve dinner once per month, or more. Meals, or Dinner With Divas as we call it, are sit-down, family style with LGBTQ & ally youth (11-22 years old), volunteers & staff ranging from 15-25 people per meal.
Meals provider volunteers plan the menu, provide the ingredients, and do the cooking. We ask meals volunteers to provide a vegetarian option as part of their meal. We always provide the kitchen, utensils, and hungry mouths!
Volunteers must go through our volunteer recruitment process culminating in three days of training. Our next training is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd; Sunday, June 3rd; and Saturday, June 9th.
Send us an email to receive our volunteer application and more information about our process.
