We're not just any bookstore... we're a fundraising bookstore! Carpe Librum collects donated books, CDs and DVDs to support Turning the Page, a DC education non-profit. Every sale at Carpe Librum is an investment in education for DCPS families.
Our bookstore currently has two DC locations: Mazza Gallerie (in Friendship Heights) and Dupont Circle (1220 19th St NW). Each location has a wide selection of books, and we're adding more every day. Our volunteer s help us keep every store clean and well-stocked by shelving books, straightening displays, checking out customers and spreading the word about Turning the Page.
Whether you have thirty minutes or a few hours, we would love your help! We're located in Mazza Gallerie on the lower level, across from TJ Maxx. We hope to see you soon!
