ORGANIZATION: Pacific Beach Coalition

"We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right" MLK, Jr.

Join our site captains and volunteers to cleanup Linda Mar State Beach in Pacifica and the coastal. Buckets and clean gloves are provided, parking passes will be given when you check in.


Then every year during the Martin Luther King weekend, we organize the biggest planting event of the year! In partnership with the Pacifica Environmental Family and the Pacifica Shorbird AllianceWe gather small plants that have been babysitted by our volunteers for months and we all regroup on this particular day to introduce them to their new habitat. This event is a joined effort and all the community contribute.

Primary programs include:

  • Weekly cleanups, rotating through the beautiful beaches in Pacifica, Montara and Half Moon Bay on San Mateo County's coast.
  • Monthly habitat restoration.
  • Earth Day Actions & Celebration.
  • Adopt-a-Beach Program coordination.
  • Education and outreach regarding the watershed, beaches and ocean.

Something for everyone to participate in. All ages and interests.
