ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Northern Colorado Services

Baskets of Joy is an annual holiday program organized by Volunteers of America. Volunteers pick up holiday gift baskets from the VOA office, get a quick orientation, and then are off on their routes to deliver the baskets to homebound seniors throughout Larimer County that are a part of other VOA programs. This is a fun way to bring smiles and love to seniors in our community who may need a little extra joy in their life around the holidays. Groups are welcome and it can be a fun team building opportunity for corporate groups as well! There is no age limit and for volunteers who are under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to accompany them. All shifts take place on Wednesday, December 12th and last 2 hours.

Description

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
