Opportunity for graphic designers for fundraising. Creating designs for t-shirts and other items.

Experience with basic editing and graphic design is required. This is a learning volunteership. Women, people of color, people with disabilities, transgender people and individuals with diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply from all disciplines.

Job Description: Graphic Design Volunteer

Responsibilities: The Graphic Design Volunteer will design content for marketing, branding, products, calendars and social media campaigns. Will conceptualize, design, and create mock-ups from small
enhancements to entirely new designs. Projects will range from designing social media graphics
to participating in large projects to market PBRC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design clear, engaging graphic communications for print and
the web. This may include logos, direct mail pieces, branded promotional items, website and social
media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed. Work closely with the
executive staff to translate messaging concepts into marketing materials.
Must have the ability to work independently and in partnership with a team. Must possess the ability to
define and work on deadlines. Applicants will also need to be self-directed and willing to take initiative
as well as detail-oriented, respect and maintain the confidentiality of PBRC, and possess an
enthusiasm for the mission of the organization and/or photography.

Time Commitment: Varies

Vision Statement Mission Statement: As an organization, Pit Bull Rescue Central (PBRC) will: Help relieve suffering of and prevent cruelty to dogs identified as pit bulls and mixes thereof, through the public dissemination of educational information. Help reduce the number of homeless pit bulls and mixes thereof, through the public dissemination of educational information and spay or neuter grants. Facilitate the rescue and placement of homeless dogs identified primarily as pit bulls and mixes thereof, into responsible homes. Participate in fundraising in order to provide caretakers of pit bulls and mixes thereof, with the means to: - spay or neuter - access quality and accurate educational information - access to resources targeting responsible rescue and placements

PBRC is an educational, funding and listing resource for caretakers of American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers and any mixes thereof.
