We are looking for several driven fundraisers to raise funds for the organization. The fundraiser's responsibilities include developing fundraising programs, recruiting sponsors and volunteers, and encouraging support through promotional activities. You should also develop and maintain professional relationships. To be successful as a fundraiser, you should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus strong leadership qualities. Ultimately, a top-notch fundraiser should be able to perform under pressure, possessing exceptional communication and organization skills. Fundraiser Responsibilities: Researching potential sponsors. Writing funding proposals and sending these to potential sponsors. Creating marketing and promotional activities. Developing fundraising events. Maintaining records of sponsors. Organizing campaigns that will lead to donations. Fundraiser Requirements: High school diploma. Experience in a fundraising position. Creativity and persuasion skills. Detail-oriented. Good organizational skills. Strong leadership qualities. What will we expect from you? Committee members will help with Poppy Mart, calendars, the Café Press store, and ad-hoc fundraisers as they come up. Technical Skills or Knowledge: Familiarity with selling in Ebay, Etsy, etc. Familiarity with email tools such as Constant Contact or MailChip or confidence in learning the tool on one’s own Familiarity with the various shipping options offered by USPS and services offered online Basic skills with graphics or photo editing using Photoshop or similar tools Personal Skills: Good customer service ethic Ability to work with others in a team Excellent written communication skills Creative thinker - not necessary to be an artist, but be able to think of new ideas and ways of doing things Be able to occasionally handle some shipping tasks within 72 hours of receiving order. Opportunity for graphic designers for fundraising. Creating designs for t-shirts and other items. Experience with basic editing and graphic design is required. This is a learning volunteership. Job Description: Graphic Design Volunteer Responsibilities: The Graphic Design Volunteer will design content for marketing, branding, products, calendars and social media campaigns. Will conceptualize, design, and create mock-ups from small enhancements to entirely new designs. Projects will range from designing social media graphics to participating in large projects to market PBRC. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design clear, engaging graphic communications for print and the web. This may include logos, direct mail pieces, branded promotional items, website and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed. Work closely with the executive staff to translate messaging concepts into marketing materials. Must have the ability to work independently and in partnership with a team. Must possess the ability to define and work on deadlines. Applicants will also need to be self-directed and willing to take initiative as well as detail-oriented, respect and maintain the confidentiality of PBRC, and possess an enthusiasm for the mission of the organization and/or photography.
