Turning the Page, an education non-profit focusing on family engagement work in schools is seeking energetic and motivated volunteers to help us keep our fundraising bookstore up and running! Volunteers will be shelving books, organizing the shop and communicating with and checking out customers.
We rely on volunteers to keep our stores running smoothly so even more funds can support our school programs in North Lawndale.

Turning the Page is an education nonprofit engaging public school families for student success. We connect parents and other caring family members with teachers, school administrators, and communities to ensure that all students, regardless of income or home neighborhood, are fully supported in their education.
Description
Since 1998, Turning the Page has become a leader in family engagement, providing thousands of families with the supports, skills, and resources they need to best support their children's learning at home and at school, form positive relationships with their children's teachers, and become leaders in their school communities. Turning the Page currently partners with schools in Ward 7 and Ward 8 of Washington, DC.
