Corporate/Group Volunteers Needed: Career Presentations For Transitional Age Youth (Long Beach, CA)

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: LINC Housing

How can your group make a positive impact towards transitional age youth?

LINC Housing is looking for corporations, organizations, or groups to give back to our transitional age youth community by providing the knowledge, resources and skills needed for different careers & jobs in the community as they build their path to a successful adulthood. The Palace is a 14 unit affordable housing community in Long Beach, CA that also provides supportive services for each resident. As residents look to transition into adulthood, having knowledge of the types of jobs & careers that are out there will encourage residents to explore their interests and possibilities for their future!

Provide a 1-2 hour informational & beneficial presentation to our youth:

  • Describe your general work & tasks
  • Process of hiring
  • Education/skills needed
  • Experience needed
  • Any information or resources that are beneficial toward our transitional age youth residents!

This is a great opportunity to have a fun conversation about your career and feel good about giving back to the youth. Be the difference that provides the many possibilities and career choices our residents can explore!
