Volunteering at Lancaster Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a fun way to make a difference in our community without swinging a hammer or getting your boots muddy.
The Habitat ReStore is a non-profit business specializing in the resale of new and gently used building materials and supplies to the public. Proceeds from the sale of donated items at the ReStore directly benefit Lancaster Area Habitat for Humanity's efforts to build homes in partnership with low to moderate income families in Lancaster County.
Our ReStore volunteers keep busy by: assisting customers with the sales process; keeping merchandise organized on the sales floor; staging and merchandising of items; keeping drop-off area/warehouse clean, safe, and organized; creating decorative displays and everything in between!
The ReStore is open Tuesday - Friday from 9am to 5pm and on Saturdays from 9am-4pm. Flexible volunteer shifts are available! The minimum age to volunteer is 16.
