STAIR-Annapolis, Start The Adventure In Reading, is a twice-weekly, AFTER SCHOOL literacy tutoring program for Anne Arundel County Public School second grade students reading below grade level. Tutors work one-on-one with a student for an hour-long session, and we offer our volunteers the flexibility to choose their level of commitment: one day per week, two days per week, or as a substitute on an as-needed basis. Stair-Annapolis at Tracey's Elementary begins January 6th until early May and will be held Monday and Thursday from 2:30-3:45. A 2 hour training will be held Thursday, November 30, from 3-5 at Tracey's Elementary.

For more information on how to become a STAIR tutor, contact volunteer_coordinator@stairannapolis.org, or visit our website and fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/STAIR_Annapolis/stair-new-tutor-application
