Interested in helping community cats in your area?

The Best Friends Stanislaus Community Cat Program has a goal of spaying/neutering and vaccinating 10,000 community cats by 2021. This will significantly reduce the number of cats entering Stanislaus County Animal Shelter therein reducing the number of cats being killed.

You can help return fixed cats to their original location by volunteering as a Return-to-Field transporter! You’ll use your own vehicle to pick up cats from the shelter, and take them back to their colony to be released. Transports can usually be done in an hour or two!
