Riverbanks Run

Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is currently seeking volunteers for our Riverbanks Run 5K race. We need approximately 50 volunteers for race day. This year’s event is on Saturday, July 25th, 2020.

Volunteer sign in is at 6:15am.

Volunteers will serve in one of several different areas:
* Assisting race participants as they arrive for the race.
* Handing out race day packets to race participants.
* Handing out water at the half way mark or finish line.
* Giving directions and encouragement along the race route.
* Assisting our Events Team with behind the scenes tasks.

Each volunteer will receive two complementary tickets that may be used for daily admission to the zoo and garden! This year, volunteers will also receive a free Riverbanks special event volunteer t-shirt! Supplies are limited and there are a variety of sizes, so come early to pick your shirt size.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to participate.

If you would like to volunteer, please email me, Haley Albright at halbright@riverbanks.org. Once I ensure your volunteer spot, I will respond back with the 2020 Riverbanks Run 5K application/waiver and instruction sheet. Volunteer requests will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Thank you for considering this volunteer opportunity!
