ORGANIZATION: United Way of Martin County/AmeriCorps Seniors

Martin Volunteers is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.

The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to provide a coordinated, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary approach to sexual violence on the Treasure Coast. Our goal is to provide sexual assault survivors with the services and support to lead them towards empowerment and reconnection.

Volunteers with a passion to end sexual violence are needed to work at tabling events to provide outreach and education on services available to sexual violence victims/survivors in Martin County.

Minimum requirements: One year minimum commitment. HS Diploma or GED, 30 hours of training (provided). Must be able to sit/stand at tabling events or speaking engagements.
Background check required at agency expense.
