The Olathe Hospice House is a calm, friendly environment where staff and volunteers support our hospice patients and their families. Are you positive, patient and compassionate? Do you have a ready smile?
Then we need you in our House lobby!

  • Welcome families
  • Direct visitors
  • Alphabetize paperwork, compile newsletters and welcome packets
  • Make coffee
  • Warm soup and cookies (no cooking required!)
  • Day and evening shifts available - choose what's best for you!
  • Be responsible and committed - come in when you're scheduled to be here
  • 3 hours per shift, 2 shifts per month (or once weekly if you prefer!
  • Must be16 years of age or older.
  • Background check, training, and a few immunizations are required.

Description

Olathe Health Ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, hospice care, and the Gift Shops - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events.

At Olathe Health, our Ambassadors and staff work together to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
