Ready to Make a Difference?
Volunteers play a vital role at the American Lung Association. Our Detroit office (Madison Heights, MI) is currently looking for a volunteer to support a few key projects for upcoming special events. This volunteer opportunity is great for someone looking to give back and gain hands on fundraising development, event planning and marketing experience. The ideal volunteer will be available 10-20 hours a week in November and December.
Specific duties may include:
- Solicitation and coordination of in-kind sponsors
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers for special projects
- Serve as a representative of the American Lung Association at community and ALA special events
- Assist with projects related to the day to day administrative operations of the office
