  • 16 people are interested

The Building Skills Partnership's mission is to improve the quality of life of low-wage immigrant workers, by increasing their skills and access to career and community advancement. We offer classes at the janitors' union office in English as a Second Language, Citizenship Preparation, College Access and more.

We are in need of volunteers to work one-on-one with participants in our ongoing Citizenship Preparation class who are working to improve their English communication skills before conducting their naturalization exam. The ideal tutor would be bilingual with Spanish and have some experience working with immigrants. Some knowledge of the naturalization exam is a plus, but not necessary. Flexible schedule according to your availability.
