Planting day volunteers at work
Join us as a planting volunteer at a Friends of Trees planting!

How do I register? All individuals and groups are kindly asked to RSVP to save your spot(s) by filling out our quick Registration Form on our website (https://friendsoftrees.org/event-calendar/). Registration is highly recommended but not required.

Kick off the new year by planting with Friends of Trees! We will be planting a variety of native trees and shrubs at Durham City Park in partnership with the City of Durham and Clean Water Services -- and your help is what makes this community planting possible!

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots - and be ready to have fun!

Under age 18? A signed youth waiver (https://friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver) is required for you to volunteer. We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.

Please contact Jenny, Pablo, and Carey at (503) 595-0213 // volunteer@friendsoftrees.org if you have questions or need any further information. We look forward to seeing you out there!
