The Litzsinger Road Ecology Center (LREC) helps teachers engage their students in place-based education using local ecology as a framework for studying a variety of habitats. Located in Ladue, this unique 34-acre study center encompasses a rich variety of habitats including bottomland forest, restored prairie, and an urban creek.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead small groups of school children in ecological investigations and explorations of the natural world.
- Facilitate outdoor learning activities designed by teachers that support their curriculum
