To discover and share knowledge about plants and their enviroment, in order to preserve and enrich life.


Founded in 1859, the Missouri Botanical Garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden in continuous operation and a National Historic Landmark.
The Garden is a center for botanical research and science education, as well as a 79 acre oasis in the city of St. Louis for over 158 years. A place of beauty and family fun-and also a center for education, science, and conservation.

Would you recommend Missouri Botanical Garden?

Missouri Botanical Garden is a wonderful place to volunteer, they make their volunteers feel special and appreciated. Their Volunteer Manager, Jackie Juras is a great person to work for.
