Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The Link

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Help make Outreach Kits that will help The Link's CORE Program reach people experiencing homelessness in Dakota County.

Why: The Wilder Point in Time Count is done in October every 3 years. The count is widely cited across the state as "the gold standard" in accurate homeless numbers. This year's count is taking place on October 25th.

What is The Link Doing? The Link's CORE program will be hitting the streets the day of the count and will hand out bags of resources to all unsheltered folks. The count is state-wide, but The Link's Core program will be only focusing on Dakota area.

How Can I Help? The Link needs volunteers to bring needed items from the signup list and pack outreach kits. Our goal is to get 100 outreach kits packed. Come with your family, friends, coworkers, and community and learn more about this important work and make a big difference. Spread the word to your networks!

Please note that volunteers are encouraged to sign up for more than one slot of items. All supplies needed for the outreach kit packs will be provided by volunteers and the community.
