Mission Statement

Our mission is to link youth, their families and communities to their inner strength by providing life-skills, advocacy, supportive housing, and a dynamic network of social services that transform lives.

Description

The Link is a nonreligious non-profit started in 1991 by Vikings Jim Marshall and Oscar Reed. The Link operates under three main divisions, including Housing and Homeless Services, Juvenile Justice, and Safe Harbor. Throughout those divisions, The Link serves over 3,300 youth and young families a year in the 7 metro counties. Services provided to youth include housing support, development assessments for children of youth in our programs, case management and stabilization, education support, community outreach, and more.
