Heartland Hospice services patients living in their homes or nursing homes with a terminal diagnosis of 6 month or less life expectancy. So many of our patients would still like to socialize and visit with others but no longer have the means to do so. Or there are the patients who are no longer verbal and need just some on to sit and read to them so caregivers can run errands.
