In collaboration with the Cincinnati Public Schools and Junior Achievement, United Way is hosting the fourth-annual Unite for Teen Financial Literacy Day. We’re looking for volunteers representing banks, financial institutions and other groups throughout the region to present a special financial literacy curriculum to students in Cincinnati.
As we help children and families in poverty move toward self-sufficiency, we know a key step is preparing children, youth and young adults to succeed in school and life.
Unite for Teen Financial Literacy Day volunteers will teach a version of Junior Achievement’s proven, interactive and fun financial literacy curriculum designed to help students own their economic success. All 2,400 Cincinnati 7th graders in the district’s 20 schools will participate.
