Join our volunteer team at the Interstate Medical Offices in Portland! No experience necessary, ages 16 and up. Must be able to consistently volunteer one day per week for at least 6 months.
Kaiser Permanente is committed to improving the total health of our members and the community. Volunteers are valued members of our team and are a crucial touch point in creating compassionate and personalized experiences for all medical office visitors.
Art Cart volunteers connect directly with pediatric patients to give children a chance to express their creativity and put aside their worries for a little while.
NOTE: Due to COVID-19 safety protocol, Art Cart volunteers no longer work directly in groups with children. Instead, volunteers distribute pre-made art kits to kids and families, and restock various art supplies for our hard working medical staff. Children may choose to take the kit home, or play on an individual art tray while waiting for their visit.
Orientation and training provided; no clinical experience needed. COVID-19 safety education is provided to each volunteer before starting.
