WHAT: Volunteers and MCHS staff will come together for an afternoon of free candy, trunk-or-treating, face painting, cider and donuts and more fun for the whole family.
This year, Trunk or Treat will be welcoming the young people MCHS serves, who currently live in foster homes throughout southeast Michigan, and their foster families and friends, to trunk-or-treat alongside the young people we serve in our on-campus residential living program. We are looking forward to hosting around 100-150 children decked out in their Halloween costumes, ready to go from trunk to trunk for candy - so we need your trunk!
WHEN: Volunteer arrival time 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 13 (Event runs noon-2 p.m.)
WHERE: Methodist Children’s Home Society, 26645 W Six Mile Rd, Redford Charter Twp, MI 48240
ANYTHING ELSE?: We are also looking for volunteers who have prior experience and would be willing to face-paint during the event and we are also looking for sponsors to help us with other items of the event like pizza, and pumpkins for painting.
