Mission Statement
Founded in 1917, Methodist Children’s Home Society (MCHS) finds safe, caring homes for children who are survivors of abuse and neglect across southeast Michigan, while providing support to children and families through foster care, adoption, residential care and transitional living. MCHS proudly serves children and families of every creed, background and lifestyle, and continues to change lives thanks to the support of donors and volunteers.
Description
Methodist Children’s Home Society is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian childcare agency. MCHS responds to the needs of abused and neglected children in Michigan by providing an array of housing, educational, clinical and therapeutic services. We provide four types of programs: residential care, foster care, adoption, and transitional living programs. MCHS is located on an 80 acre campus in Redford, MI.
