ARMY VETERANS NEEDED TO LISTEN AND SUPPORT FELLOW VETERANS!
There are a number of needing Veterans that wish for comfort and companionship during their final journeys in life. Veterans have unique needs that can only be truly understood by fellow vets.
Grace Hospice, participant of We Honor Veterans, a national Hospice-Veteran Partnership, is seeking Army veterans to provide companionship and support to our Veteran hospice patients. All that is needed is a bit of your time; as little or as much as you have to give. We'll match you with a deserving veteran that is close by, and YOU dictate the time according to your schedule. It's a win-win for everyone!
Grace Hospice serves Summit, Stark, Portage, and Wayne counties.
To make this kind of difference, contact Johanna Henderson, Volunteer Coordinator at Grace Hospice. 330-899-0180 or jhenderson@ghospice.com.
Thank you!

Description
Hospice is the health care system that mandates the involvement of volunteers. This reflects the history of the hospice movement in the United States, which started as an all-volunteer system.
Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of a terminal illness. At HarmonyCares Hospice, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our Volunteers play a key role in our mission. The hospice philosophy reaches beyond the physical needs of a patient and ensures that a patient spend their final days in comfort and with dignity.
HarmonyCares Hospice volunteers are as diverse as our professional staff. Compassion and caring are the hallmarks of any great hospice volunteer, and their involvement is a vital part of our team.
