Mission Statement
Since 1993, Women Helping Women has focused on one thing...preparing people to secure good paying jobs. We guide individuals to pathways of possibility with proven programs and services provided at no charge. Description
We are workforce development professionals who help those facing real barriers navigate an uneven job landscape. We proudly enter the equity space to contribute to a more just and verdant society. Our intentional focus is serving women who are domestic abuse survivors, human trafficking victims, formerly incarcerated, foster youth and housing insecure. However, we also serve all job seekers and have very robust programs catering specifically to men and male youth. For 27 years, we have served job seekers in need at no charge, many of whom are referred by over 60 non-profits - achieving "true" wraparound services for the individuals involved. Our applied expertise allows those who have endured some of life’s harshest realities a new way forward where they own their self-sufficiency and economic mobility. Their upward trajectory and success is our great reward!
