I am looking for an experiences grant writer to writes a planning grant, this could turn into a paid position upon approval of grant. This is an non profit community based organization. Mission is to provides independent living programs for the learning disable students and those students who are lagging behind in their classes, who attending the Detroit Public Schools. I have years of history serving this populations. Let work to gather to help save the youth of Detroit Public Schools. I need three grant writers. Please me your resume along with a detail cover letter stating your interesting and experiences. Must be willing to work withthe Board Members to get the organization re-establish.

Description

OUR PROGRAM ILH developed the Todays Youth program to enhance the self-esteem and teach life skills to youth and young adults who are learning-disabled and developmentally challenged. Youth with learning disabilities can lead enriched lives when they are in an environment that builds their self-confidence and skills. The self-esteem workshops and after-school tutorials are designed to help youth build positive self-esteem; identify emotional spirals; understand and apply effective conflict resolution; improve their proficiency in reading, writing, math, science, computer and study skills; and prepare them for reading and MEAP testing.
